A friend of mine has been looking for rural horse property for a long time. Nothing yet has been just right. And after she goes to visit a place for sale, she is often visited in her dreams with messages and impressions that lead her to follow up on it or reject it outright.
She is a gifted dreamer, no doubt.
When visiting for the second time a property that has become a magical place of her dreams—a forlorn property in foreclosure that has sat empty for at least two years—she was brought to a halt by the unexpected vision (above) when she shifted her focus to the balcony outside the upstairs master bedroom.
Not knowing what to make of this, she reported the bobcat presence to her realtor, who indicated she would notify wildlife officials. So, since that visit, this lovely lynx/bobcat was supposedly to have been “rescued” and moved a more suitable location. Also since that visit—and much to my friend’s dismay—the property went under contract… to someone else. She was downhearted, about both the property and the plight of the beautiful lynx and her offspring.
But not being one to give up easily, my friend paid one last visit to the property a week or so later, and the first thing she saw when she drove through the entry gates was mama lynx sitting on the adobe wall of the upstairs balcony. And, when my friend went upstairs to the master bedroom and looked out through the window, there she was again: the magnificent Lynx Madonna with her child, still present, staring my friend straight in the eye, as if to underscore their mutual determination. It was another very intense moment.
“What does this mean? What is the message?” my friend asked herself, being one to never overlook the signs we all receive from omens and dreams. She adores this property, in spite of the work needed to bring it back to its former glory, and she felt bobcat’s presence there was very significant.
What happens next for my friend, for this beautiful abandoned property, and for this magical lynx, remains to be seen. But whatever it is, I trust the message of this beautiful animal will have entered my friend’s consciousness to best advantage.
