By now probably just about everybody has heard the phrase “law of attraction.” What this means, basically, is that we create, or attract into our lives, whatever we focus on. If this is true, then you obviously don’t want to spend a lot of time brooding about the things in your life you think are negative — because you’ll just attract more of those things. Instead, you want to think about those things you want, or the things that are great about your life — and spend a lot of time doing that. By doing so those good things will multiply too.
When I teach animal communication classes, obviously the students who choose to attend want to be able to communicate with animals (duh). So one thing we do a lot of is use techniques and practices in class that will help overcome the students’ own self doubt. Everybody has it, even us seasoned communicators, but students in particular are prone to thinking they “just made it up,” or “imagined it” when they start getting messages from the animals. This is normal and it is not hard to overcome.
One of my favorite exercises, and one I always include in my classes, is called “The Pink Bubble Technique” and is taken from the book Creative Visualization, by Shakti Gawain. I have used it myself for years and years, especially when I find myself trapped in negative thoughts. It really works, and I would urge you to try it and just see if you don’t start attracting more and more positives into your life. Here’s how to do it, and it only takes a few minutes:
- In a quiet spot where you won’t be disturbed, close your eyes, breathe deeply, and become quiet and relaxed.
- Imagine something you would like and create a picture of it. Then imagine that you already have it and fully experience the feelings that brings. Spend a few minutes really reveling in those emotions of satisfaction at having achieved something you really wanted.
- Now, holding that emotion and still seeing the picture, enclose it in a pink bubble. Pink is one of the colors associated with the heart and will help bring to you your heart’s desire.
- Still holding your picture in mind and feeling the elation of achieving it, release the bubble and allow it to float off into space. By totally letting go of all attachment to it, you are allowing it to travel through the universe and gather the energy it needs for manifestation.
That’s it. Easy peasy. And it works like a charm!
So if communicating with animals is one of your goals, see it as already happening, feel the high from it, and get ready for its realization in your life — maybe sooner than you think!
